Radioactive source, ALPHA, Polonium-210, low energy, suitable for classroom use, for study in radioactivity and absorbers.
**** Polonium-210 has a very short half-life of 135 days ****
NOTE: Approx. 18 months after purchase, the item is useless for experiments. A better alternative would be the Beta radioactive source as it has a much longer half life and will remain useful for experiments for many years.
