The famous IEC 'Microwave Apparatus, 2.8cm wavelength', (used for microwave optics) has been a popular item for teaching many aspects of optics for many years. It has recently been modernised internally and there is no change to the external appearance. The kit consists of a compact portable Transmitter run by PlugPak or 12V.p/supply, a compact portable Receiver run by battery or LV.p/supply, a diode probe with cable, a set of 3x metal reflectors, a semi-reflector, a polarizing grille, a diffraction grating, a microphone and a 240/12V.AC.PlugPak. Complete with an excellent instruction and experiment book.
