Description

The Australian made IEC Digital meter range are an accurate, rugged, reliable, broad range
general purpose digital instrument for laboratory or classroom use and is designed to be
almost indestructible in the hands of students.

There are no ranges to select and polarity can be reversed.

Connection by 4mm banana safety sockets is provided so that cables with either safety
plugs or normal banana plugs can be used.

To conserve the battery (a normal 9V), the meter features AUTO POWER OFF and pressing ON button provides 20 minute run time. When OFF, pressing button always provides a further 20 minutes.

A "LO-BATT" alarm displays well before the battery must be replaced and accuracy is not affected.  Power turns off automatically after 20 minutes to protect against forgetful users.  One touch of the only button restores the display.

The large 3-1/2 digit LCD display allows reading from 0.00 to 199.9 Volts DC with 100mV resolution.

If the 20V DC rating is exceeded,  a red LED illuminates as a reminder but there is no chance of damage.

There are no knobs or switches or fuses to replace which makes it the perfect, long-lasting voltmeter for the classroom.
