LIQUID HAND BOILER
Wrap your hand around the bottom of one of these twisty glass sculpted hand bubblers and you will see the liquid "boil" and rise to the top chamber! As your hand warms the bottom, the gas pushes the liquid upwards and it continues going all the way to the top! Just remove your hand and the liquid will start to descend. This is a great demonstration of energy transfer and it's fun watching the liquid travel up the twisty glass tube

Learn about the relationship between temperature and pressure. As temperature increases, so does the pressure as evidenced by the rising liquid!
Experiment with different people to see the various body temperature they have which results in different "boil" times. Chart and predict your time!
