Description

New version of the Photo Electric Effect with 2 separate meters.  One displays the current through the Photo Tube in 0.1 nanoamps and the other displays the backing volts that brings the current to exactly zero.   With both readings on view without the need for switching,  experiments are faster and less confusing.

The light source is by LEDs which are selectable from the front panel but,  if the traditional method of a white light source and colour filters is preferred,  this also can be performed.    Light source and filters is no longer part of the kit and would need to be purchased separately,  or borrowed from an older model instrument.

The unit is powered by a 12V.AC or DC plug pak (not supplied) or by banana plugs from any normal school power supply.
