Description
The kit allows students to assemble the model and then twist it into a double helix instead of building it around a centre post.
Each of the four nitrogenous bases comes in a different unlabelled colour so students can design their own base pair coding.
The model is removable from the plastic base and can be extended to its full length to demonstrate strand separation.
